thirty.

Yep. I admit it.  I am now thirty.  I'm slowly accepting the fact.

A couple of days after my birthday I walked into a surprise party!
{My husband tells me he thought up the idea and then passed it off to a couple of great ladies!}
My good friend Jana made sure there was bacon in as many dishes as possible.  That right there is one thoughtful friend!  And check out all of the craftiness below.  I sat around and stared at all of their hard work, totally impressed!  Jana and Heather worked so hard at all of these details.

Succulents in hand painted pots.
A table runner that was hand stamped.
And a tablecloth that was stamped with black polka dots.

Hand "dipped" utensils.

Homemade tassel and triangle garland.

And of course there was awesome graphic design work, made by Heather from Design with Life.

Yes, someone got a hold of my mother and ended up with some baby pictures.
We were discussing how you know you are an 80s baby girl if you have a picture in that sailor dress.  Anyone else agree?

Aren't those triangle stickers on the cups perfect?

Like I said before, I have amazing friends and an awesome husband.  I usually try to avoid gushing, but this is one of those times where I just can't help myself.  I cannot say thank you enough to the family that helped pull off the surprise, and the friends that were there to help celebrate.

Here's to the next decade, spent with the amazing friends and family in my life!

{Make sure you check out Heather's blog, Design with Life.  She has free printables once in a while!  And she has a great etsy shop!}
