Today we hit our fourth snow day and I realized I was going to have to be creative or my kids would end up watching way too much TV.  I pulled out my tote of Valentine's Day decorations and found these three little mailboxes that I bought at the end of the season last year.

I grabbed some washi tape, glitter glue and some card stock letters and had the kids work on decorating their own mailboxes. {The glitter glue and mailboxes were from the dollar bins at Target last year.}

We decided that the boxes will be for little love notes to each other.  The girls are very excited about putting the flags up and sticking mail inside.

It was really cute to see them go right from decorating their boxes to making cards for each other.  

Now the only question is, how long until all of the glitter glue dries?
