Springtime Mantle

Something wonderful happened when I stepped outside today: the sun was shinning, I saw a few different birds, and then I knew that spring was really going to come!  And that spring fever meant I needed to get my springtime mantle finished up!  Yesterday I posted a tutorial on how to create the rag garland shown above.  Below are a few close-ups of my mantle.

I love this little corner of my mantle.  It is full of everything that comes to my mind when I think of spring weather.  I cannot wait for a chance to get out with my kids in a stroller and take a nice long walk!  What are you most looking forward to when you think of spring?
