A Great Start to Tuesday

I have spent the last month running around like a crazy mad woman. {I'm thinking some of you can relate!}  Now that life seems to be getting back into a routine again it is time to make blogging a part of my routine.

I enjoyed the company of a few wonderful ladies this morning as we continued our study on the book of Esther, with the help of Beth Moore.  I am learning so much about myself as a woman through this study!

All that remains in my house now is this evidence of a great morning....

This lemon pound cake was a made from scratch adventure that was worth every minute.  Moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside - I better stop now before I am going back for a second piece!  The blog where you can find this recipe has excellent pictures that show you how to take the lemon apart correctly.  Set aside plenty of time to make this cake and I know you will enjoy every delicious bite!

Time for me to get to work on meal planning for the next few days.  {I'll have to share the very simplified version of my meal planning sheet sometime.}  I hope you take the time to enjoy the simple things around you today.  I know Kailey has been enjoying her "lippy lippy" straw!
