working hard.

I love to read Berenstain Bear books to my kids.  They teach good life lessons and you can also find some books that are published with verses, activities and discussion questions!

Recently I bought The Berenstain Bears and A Job Well Done.  Lately we seem to be having a hard time finding motivation to do our household chores, myself included.  So when I came across this book I bought it right away.

You can summarize the book with the verse found at the beginning:

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 {esv}

{ insert long sigh}

Yep, I know this book my daughter brought to me was a message from God.  

Time to refocus.

I don't like the job I have to do today?  Well, it still needs to be done.  So will I do it with all my might?  Or grumbling and complaining while I do the bare minimum?  Every time I feel I've failed He has forgiven me, picked me up, and helped me learn from my mistakes.  When I have the wrong attitude about what I'm doing it is amazing how the Lord will give me a fresh perspective, when I ask.
