I am currently loving geometric prints, especially triangles. So I had to find a way to get them into my home. Without spending much money. I also needed to do something to spice up my bathroom.
In the end I wound up making a completely imperfect triangle pattern on my bathroom wall.
{I transferred everything to black and white because there is no natural light in my bathroom and the flash and pale yellow wall combo is not appealing.}
I made an isosceles triangle out of a kitchen sponge. This triangle measured 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.
After a little trial and error I discovered it turned out a lot better if I used a foam brush to help apply the paint to the sponge. It allowed me to end up with a much more even print. I started off using painters tape to help with my stripes. But I ended up ripping them all off and just lining up the points of the triangle as best as I could.
I love the triangles in the corner of my bathroom. Imperfect, but just right for this space.
Anyone else out there loving triangles in their home right now?
